1st Choice Learning Academy Earns Texas Rising Star 4-Star Recognition

1st Choice Learning Academy is proud to announce that our child care center has been awarded a 4-Star Texas Rising Star rating through the Texas Workforce Commission.

The Texas Rising Star program is Texas’ quality rating and improvement system for eligible child care and early learning programs. According to the Texas Workforce Commission, the program recognizes child care providers that participate in Child Care Services and meet quality standards above the state’s minimum licensing requirements. The program includes progressive certification levels, with Four-Star recognition representing the highest level of certification.

For families, this recognition is more than a sign on the wall. It reflects a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, developmentally supportive learning environment for children. Texas Rising Star certification focuses on important areas such as caregiver-child interactions, age-appropriate learning activities, staff qualifications, indoor and outdoor environments, nutrition, and parent involvement.
